DigitalFruitFly - Chrome extension
==================================

A male digital fly that lives on top of whatever page you are on. Move your cursor
at it and it bolts. Its panic reflex runs on the same small circuit as digitalfly.fun,
modelled on a real fly's brain. No food, no droppings - just the fly and your cursor.

There is one fly for the whole browser, not one per tab. The tab you are looking at
runs it; when you switch tabs it carries on in the new one from where it was.

It reads nothing on the page, stores nothing but its own on/off, size and the fly's
current position, and sends nothing anywhere.

Install (unpacked, for testing)
-------------------------------
1. Unzip this folder somewhere it can stay (Chrome loads it from here every time).
2. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions
3. Turn on "Developer mode" (top right).
4. Click "Load unpacked" and choose the unzipped folder.
5. Open any website. The fly appears after the page loads.
6. Click the fly icon in the toolbar to switch it off or change its size.

Publishing to the Chrome Web Store
----------------------------------
Needs a developer account (one-time US$5 fee) at
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/devconsole - upload this same folder as a zip.
Review usually takes a few days. The manifest already declares the only permission
it uses ("storage") and asks for nothing else.
